One of our clients, a global leading supplier and exporter of Fresh Produce, including Dry Fruit and Nuts, is looking for an experienced Group Dry Fruit and Nuts Product Specialist to join their European team

Profiel / Profile

• Act as the group’s Dry Fruit and Nuts category expert, managing the category across all of our subsidiary branches in Europe.
• The category will be regarded as a separate P&L integrated into a wider 5-year detailed business plan.
• In depths knowledge of the category, from sourcing to understanding the market potential and opportunities.
• Overseeing the entire supply chain, “from the field to the shelf”, liaising with the group various functions, to guarantee successful delivery of the forecasted annual plan.

Functie-eisen / Job requirements

• This role will be stationed in either of the three European core branches – France, UK or the Netherlands. Subject to the candidate preference.
• Making a category “your own” by showing high levels of agronomical, operational, and commercial knowledge in that field.
• Drafting a detailed business plan along with an action plan on how this can be achieved.
• Liaising with our Global Sourcing department and actively participating in supplier/farm selection and planning/programming.
• Liaising with our Global Farming department to seek and explore opportunities to develop farming base partnerships globally.
• Liaising with our logistical department to collate and monitor rates and shipping lines' credibility based on transit route availability and historical performance records.
• Liaising with our technical and operational departments to ensure the farms comply with all compliance, ethical and environmental standards.
